Custom, Unique, and Special
commission a painting
Commissioning a custom painting is a unique and personal way to bring art into your life that speaks directly to you. Whether you're a seasoned art collector or just looking to add a splash of tranquility to your space, the process is simple, engaging, and totally tailored to your vision. Here's how you can embark on this exciting journey:
Dream Up Your Vision: Think about what you want in your custom painting. Consider the colors, mood, and size that would best fit your space. Don't worry if you're not exactly sure what you want—part of the fun is collaborating together to refine your ideas. Any color or fabric swatches you can provide will help in creating a piece that's true to your color palette.
Set the Details: Now it's time to chat about the details! This includes the size of the painting, any specific elements you want included, the color scheme, and the timeframe. This is also the perfect time to ask any questions you might have about the process. Once the composition, color palette and size has been defined, a 50% deposit is required to begin the project.
Review and Revise: As your custom painting nears completion, you’ll be able to see progress photos. This is your opportunity to provide feedback and request any minor adjustments to ensure the final piece is exactly what you envisioned. We'll always work with you to get it just right.
Welcome Your Art Home: Once your painting is complete and you've given your final approval, the remaining 50% balance is due. Once the painting has been paid in full, the piece will be carefully packaged and shipped to you or your designated framer. Prepare to hang it proudly, knowing you've contributed to the creation of a one-of-a-kind piece that not only enhances your space but also supports the talent of a local artist.
Exclusivity: Your commissioned work is truly unique, and will not be made into reproductions for profit of any kind. This painting will be yours alone. The artist will retain rights to share images of the created work on their website and social media.
Commissioning a painting is more than just acquiring a new piece for your collection; it's about embarking on a creative journey that ends with a masterpiece that's uniquely yours. So, embrace the process, communicate openly about your vision, and soon, you'll have a beautiful piece of art that brings peace and tranquility into your space.
